“Our Community, Our Commitment”

Message from the Chief
Welcome to the Azle Police Department web site. The Azle Police Department consists of 25 sworn officers, five reserve officers and eight civilian employees, all highly competent, committed, and dedicated men and women with a common goal. Our goal is to meet the police service demands of the citizens, businesses, and visitors to the City of Azle.

The Azle Police Department has adopted a Community Oriented Policing model, wherein we reach out to the citizens and encourage practical partnerships with the department and those we serve. Working together, we have been successful in creating a better quality of life for all Azle residents. It is truly rewarding and challenging for the members of the Azle Police Department to serve the community and play a key role in making Azle a good place to live, work and play. In doing so, we believe in professional excellence and police / community partnerships.

- Interim Chief Darrell West
